Angels Camp, CA...Emily Stemler, age 88, passed away on September 23 2010. Despite her age, her passing shocked family and friends as we now struggle with life without her guiding light. She was proceeded in death by her husband Daris Buck Stemler, her sisters June Ballard and Rosalind Genochio and brother Mark Carley. She is survived by.. |

Angels Camp, CA....You are invited to a Harvest Party Library Fundraiser on Saturday, October 23rd 1-5pm. Come tour 6 beautiful Angels Camp homes (5 in Greenhorn and 1 in Angel Oaks) decorated for autumn and enjoy wine, hors ‘d’oeuvres and other refreshments. Talented local artists and crafters will have their work for sale at each home. There will be a quilt raffle and a 50/50 raffle. Angels Camp, CA...Dove Hill Ranch performed it's magic as a wonderful backdrop for the Annual Taste of Calaveras event this last Saturday. There was food, music, wine, art and more in the dozens of booths that were arrayed on the beautiful grounds. This is the signature event for the Angels Camp Business Association and proceeds benefited the Calaveras County Arts Council as well. The event was a showcase of life in Calaveras County...
