Board of Supervisors Are Back in Action Tuesday Morning! |

San Andreas, CA...The Calaveras County Board of Supes are back in action Tues morning at 9am. Some of the agenda items being discussed will be a Resolution Item approving the spending plan for the DA's office for FY 2007/2008 and authorizing transfer of funds and authorizing the Auditor to adjust books of record accordingly, along with a Budget Transfer in the amount of $15,173.00. This requires a 4/5 vote; A Resolution Item approving an amendment to the agreement between Sequoia Psychiatric Center and Calaveras County Behavioral Health Services for Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital Services to increase total contract amount not to exceed $125,000, including a rate change of $625 per day to $650 per day. Calaveras County General Plan Public Review Draft Baseline Report Has Been Released |

San Andreas, CA....The Calaveras County Community Development Agency has released the Draft Baseline Report for public review and comment. A preliminary draft of the report was released in November. The public will have thirty days to submit comments on the report and the comment period will end at 4 PM, March 11, 2008.....

| Angels Camp, CA...The Angels Camp City Council is back in action on Tuesday February 5th at the Utica Power Authority located at 1168 Booster Way in Angels Camp. They will begin the meeting at 4:30pm with City Council Interviews then appointing a City Council Member during the regular meeting. The regular meeting will begin at 6pm. Some of the agenda items are there will be a Public Hearing regarding the Community Development Block Program Final Grantee Performance Reports. The Council will approve the final CDBG report. Tim McSorley will discuss funding the the Angels Camp S.E. Bypass; They will looking for three Museum Commissioners. San Andreas, CA...The Calaveras County Board of Supes are back in action bright and early Tuesday morning, Feburary 5th at 9am after a day off last week. Some of the agenda items being discussed will be a MINUTE ORDER authorizing the Chair of the Board of Supervisors to sign the Public Health Emergency Preparedness Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Agreement with the California Department of Public Health for the period Aug 31, 2007 - Aug 9, 2008; the "Certification Regarding Lobbying"; the "Non-Supplantation Certification; and authorizing the Health Services Agency Director to sign subsequent reports and forms related to this Agreement; MINUTE ORDER authorizing Board Chair to sign amendment 1 to Standard Agreement 07-0008, between Calaveras County and the California Department of Food and Agriculture, Pierce's Disease Control Program, for a new total not to exceed $97,071.00 for Fiscal Years 2007/08, 2008/09, 2009/2010, an increase of $1,824.00 for fiscal year 2007/2008; Environmental Management Agency/Department of Agriculture; Feeney Park is on the agenda to possibly use the park as a multipurpouse facility; RESOLUTION approving agreement #07-77305-000 between the CA Department of Mental Health and Calaveras County Behavioral Health Services, for fiscal years 04-05 through 07-08, in the amount of $1,657,788, for implementation of the Mental Health Services Act Three-Year Program and Expenditure Plan and Plan Updates superseding Agreement #06-76375-000 previously approved by the Board per Resolution 07-116; Behavioral Health.
