Sacramento, CA...Governor Gavin Newsom signed two bills to help actors and performers protect their digital likenesses in audio and visual productions, including those who are deceased. This legislation will help ensure the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other digital media technologies in entertainment by giving workers more protections.

Dorrington, CA...Please be advised that there will be traffic delays and a full road closure from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm on Choctaw Way from Monday, September 16, 2024, through Wednesday, September 18, 2024. Maintenance operations will start on the south end of Choctaw Drive at Yuroc Drive and move north towards Cheyenne Way.

Avery, CA...Please be advised that Moran Road will be closed to thru traffic from State Route 4 to Avery Hotel Road on Thursday, September 11, 2024, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm for paving and roadway reconstruction. During construction operations, traffic lanes will be closed, however, flaggers will be on site to keep delays at a minimum. There will be limited access, so please plan your route accordingly. We ask that you follow all instructions provided by on site personnel to ensure everyone’s safety.
