Washington, DC...The United States and Mexico met this week to address the shared challenges of irregular migration, to include the entry of migrants into the United States in violation of U.S. law. Given the dramatic increase in migrants moving from Central America through Mexico to the United States, both countries recognize the vital importance of rapidly resolving the humanitarian emergency and security situation. The Governments of the United States and Mexico will work together to immediately implement a durable solution.

Temporary Lane Closure on O’Byrnes Ferry Bridge Thursday, June 6, 2019

Copperopolis, CA...The Calaveras County Public Works Department will be installing temporary repairs on the bridge guard railing of O’Byrnes Ferry Bridge at the Tuolumne County Line. Road crews will be working from 9:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. repairing the damaged railing in the Eastbound Lane. One lane of the bridge will remain open with traffic control at both ends of the bridge for the duration of work. Please plan accordingly for the expected traffic delay.
