Posted by: thepinetree on 05/13/2020 04:30 PM
San Andreas, CA....On May 13, 2020, the California Department of Public Health accepted the local attestation submitted by Calaveras County officials to move further into Stage 2 of Reopening. The local attestations can be viewed on the State webpage https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CID/DCDC/Pages/COVID-19/Local-Variance-Attestations.aspx.  Counties that have met certain criteria in containing COVID-19 may consider increasing the pace at which they advance through Stage 2 of California's roadmap to modify the Stay-at-Home order. “The goal is to open Calaveras County in a way that minimizes the risk for COVID-19,” said Dr. Dean Kelaita, Calaveras County Health Officer. “We have met the readiness criteria from the State and can fully move into Stage 2.”
