Murphys, CA...In Addition the the great shots Hanna Heath took of Little League Opening Day, we also stopped by the venues and took a bit of video as the season gets underway. The Ebbetts Pass Little League kicked off their season at Feeney Park in Murphys on Saturday morning. The place was buzzing with activity as the kids started swinging. It also seemed a bit like a neighborhood block party as all the familiar faces are back together for another season...

Angels Camp, CA....The Angelus Ranus 4-H presented their 20th Annual Youth Poultry Show at Frogtown today. Judging began at 9:00 am and Showmanship at 10am . There were over 280 types of Poultry including ducks, geese, chickens, bantams, turkeys and many other type of birds. Kids from all over Northern California will brought their birds to show. Prizes were given for Best of Show, $100.00, Reserve of Show, $50.00. and many more.....

Angels Camp, CA….Four young eighth grade beauties signed up to run for this years Jr. Miss Calaveras pageant today. Today, Event Coordinator Ed Ritter and Queen Coordinator Cheri LaSan held a pageant meeting at the Altaville Melones Volunteer Fire Department, to answer any questions from the queen candidates and to hand out a roll of raffle tickets among the girls. Angels Camp, CA...Join CAMPS art Greenhorn Creek for a Special Champagne Brunch this Easter Sunday from 9am~2pm. They will also be having an Adult Egg Hunt at Greenhorn Creek Golf Resort from Thursday March 20th through Saturday March 22nd. The Adult Egg Hunt on the Golf Course includes fun prizes. The Easter Bunny will hide Easter eggs on the golf course in places where we occasionally go. He will place them in various hiding places where (Full Brunch Menu Enclosed also)......
