Murphys, CA...Live Music and a Special New Years Menu await you at Murphys Hotel. Their Regular Menu will also be available. Reservations Recommended so give them a call at 209-728-3444. The Restaurant will be open until 10pm. The Bar will have Live Music featuring "The Fabulous Off Brothers" from 930p-1am.

Murphys, CA...Update...(Huck is home, for real. Thank you sooooo much for your post, the response was great and how the woman who had him found us. Thank you.) Our dog Huckleberry went missing in Murphys. He slipped out of his collar so he has no tag but he is microchipped. Light tan colored, black muzzle. He is an Anatolian shepherd and is really big (about 120 pounds) and lean. Very friendly and we miss him a lot. Any info or sightings please call (209)728-4613.

Murphys, CA....The Murphys Senior Center celebrated Christmas with their Annual Volunteer Christmas Luncheon. The Murphys Senior Center is the local non-profit service provider for Murphys, and currently has a team of 38 volunteers. Our Volunteers provide food for needy families, lead classes and staff the Murphys Thrift Store.

Murphys, CA...Faith Lutheran Church, located on the corner of Highway 4 and Mitchler in Murphys, will hold its annual candle-light Christmas Eve service on Tuesday, December 24 at 7 p.m. The service begins in the multi-purpose room with hot cider and sweets and then progresses into the church sanctuary. The accompanists for the beautiful Christmas Eve music will be Randy Norrie on organ and piano, as well as Edie Diegoli and Mike Skenfield on trumpet. As always, there will be a special activity for all children....
