Murphys, CA...Joan Jett and the Blackhearts brought their classic rock n roll sound to the Ironstone Amphitheater on Saturday Night and played hit after hit to an enthusiastic crowd. The Ironstone Amphitheater is a great place to take in a concert so make plans now to see Melissa Etheridge on August 2nd. Major Injuries in Murphys Grade Road Accident |

| Murphys, CA...On Thursday, July 18th at 5:15pm a 20 year old woman from New Mexico was driving westbound on Murphys Grade Road west of French Gulch road at approximately 30 - 35 miles per hour in clear sunny conditions. A 65 year old Murphys woman was was driving eastbound. The driver westbound car was temporarily blinded by the sun as she rounded a right-hand radius curve in the roadway and allowed her Chevy Cobalt tor cross over the double yellow lines and into the path of the easbound Honda Accord.... |

Murphys, CA...A beautiful husky cross dog has showed up at our home. He has blue/white eyes and is very friendly. He knows some commands and is very good with children. He has been hanging around in the neighborhood for about a week and we would love to find his owners. Please call 728-9140.
