Angels Camp, CA...Jr Bullfrog football starts Monday July 29. Practices will be held at Copello Park in Angels Camp at 5:00 pm. For those who have yet to register, it is not to late. Stevenot Memorial Amphitheatre is set to roll you over and make you cry with laughter! “The Complete Wrks of Wllm Shkspr (Abridged) [Revised]” was originally developed by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Winfield, also known as the Reduced Shakespeare Company. Developed over years at the Renaissance Fairs of California in the 80’s, it was first performed in its original format at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 1987. 26 years later it has become one of the world's most popular plays.

Calaveras County, CA...I, like most people, have become accustomed to having certain things in my daily life. Things that I just don't think about because I use them so much. Things like my morning coffee, or grabbing a bottle of water before I leave the house...stuff like that. But those things produce a lot of waste. Of course I recycle where I can, but not everything is recyclable. From used coffee filters to paper towels, a lot of it ends up in the garbage. Paper towels alone produce up to 3,000 tons of waste everyday! At the 2013 International Home & Housewares Show, exhibitors showcased various products to help combat this ever growing problem. The Ironstone Amphitheater is a great place to take in a concert so make plans now to see Melissa Etheridge on August 2nd. Major Injuries in Murphys Grade Road Accident |

Murphys, CA...On Thursday, July 18th at 5:15pm a 20 year old woman from New Mexico was driving westbound on Murphys Grade Road west of French Gulch road at approximately 30 - 35 miles per hour in clear sunny conditions. A 65 year old Murphys woman was was driving eastbound. The driver westbound car was temporarily blinded by the sun as she rounded a right-hand radius curve in the roadway and allowed her Chevy Cobalt tor cross over the double yellow lines and into the path of the easbound Honda Accord.... |

Lost Dog on Darby Russell |

Murphys, CA...A beautiful husky cross dog has showed up at our home. He has blue/white eyes and is very friendly. He knows some commands and is very good with children. He has been hanging around in the neighborhood for about a week and we would love to find his owners. Please call 728-9140.
