Angels Camp, CA....In this episode of Elémentaire TV, Dave and Jenny make a delicious butternut squash soup mixed with croutons. Elémentaire is the creation of two professional cooks dedicated to helping take the mystery out of making delicious meals from scratch. Our goal is to educate through the use of culinary terms and techniques and also inspire, through the use of the freshest seasonal ingredients, all who watch to make their own meals to enjoy at home. Every Sunday Night at 8pm we will premier another, great, new episode of Elémentaire with Jenny & Dave.

Angels Camp, CA...Dear Friends, As many of you may know, Mic Harper, band director, was instrumental (no pun intended!) in starting Rosendo's musical "career" way back in the 4th grade - little "recorders", flutes - at Michelson Elementary School. She then invited him to play on some drums at a small school performance, and that was the real beginning. Rosendo had a natural musical talent - the Rojas bloodline, not mine! - and Mic helped to nurture and encourage that. When he was in sixth grade up at Avery Middle School, she asked him to start participating in what was then the Calaveras County Community Band, and he attended Monday evening rehearsals and performances as often as he could. He joined the Avery Band, which was a class taught by Mic, and went on to attend music and band classes at Bret Harte High School under the direction of Dave Allured for four years...

San Andreas, CA...As fall brings cooler weather and the first signs of rain, many people believe that fire season ends. The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE), Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit, is reminding all residents that burning remains suspended. Fire danger remains high across the Central Sierra and the chance of large and damaging fires still exists. Dr. Elisabeth Siegler will practice full-service orthopaedic surgery in Calaveras County starting in November. She will be joining Dr. Craig Lovett along with the Mark Twain Family Medical Center Team at the Specialty Care Centers in both Angels Camp and Valley Springs.“Mark Twain Medical Center is proud to bring another excellent and highly skilled orthopaedic surgeon to our community,” said Craig Marks, Hospital President. “Dr. Siegler treats injuries and disorders of the skeletal system and associated muscles, joints and ligaments.
