Angels Camp, CA….A structure fire has been reported at 1104 Bragg Street in Angels Camp. Angels Camp Fire Department was first on scene with three engines; engine 211,212, and 213. Angels Camp, Altaville Melones, Murphys, and San Andreas fire were all departments dispatched. All engines were released except for Angels Camp Fire and one engine from Altaville Melones. “Erik Alldrin and Dennis Brower were the first firefighters on scene with engine 211 and were able to extinguish the fire from the deck,” shared Assistant Chief Terry Bullock.....

Murphys, CA…. Ironstone Vineyards was in full bloom for Daffodil Days 2008, this weekend. The yellow celebration included food, wine, art and thousands of daffodils. Ironstone has 14 acres of approximately 500,000 daffodils in bloom during this time of year, creating a yellow field of blooms along the road into the vineyards and winery….

Murphys, CA….Thousands of people lined the streets of down town Murphys this afternoon for the 17th annual Irish Day celebration. The yearly Irish tradition brought the “Luck of the Irish” weather, wet and cold. For the first half of the morning the sun was peaking through the large puffy clouds with a slight mist in the air, common weather in Ireland. Around one o’clock after the parade had ended; a total change in weather had thousands of people fleeing for cover. The light mist had turned into rain, hail, and then snow. The bad weather however didn’t stop thousands of locals and tourists from all over the United States from coming and celebrating St. Patrick…..

Vallecito, CA….The hammered dulcimer played by Scott Williams was the perfect backdrop for the eloquently relaxing evening at Irish Vineyards in Vallecito. Irish Vineyards held their fourth annual St. Patrick ’s Day dinner in their creatively decorated tasting room at 2849 Highway 4. Dinner was prepared and served by Tallahan’s Café in Arnold. At LAST! We have a NUMBER! The final analysis has finally been completed by Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac telling us what the new conforming loan limits are for our State. Unfortunately they vary county by county, so if you need information for any counties not listed here, please give me a call, or send me an email for the limits. There are rules that apply to these new loan limits, some lenders will not allow cash out, while others will, some will not allow the loan to be processed until July, some are taking loans now, some are requiring....
