While zipping up to 30 mph, guests drop a pumpkin from the zip line trying to hit the target on the ground. Entry fee to smash a pumpkin from the 1500-FT Twin Zip Lines is $55 per smash, pumpkin included. All bullseye target winners get a FREE Zip Line ride AND the full entry ticket price will be donated to the Salvation Army to help with the Butte Fire efforts.

"Coach" Gordon Sadler Sr. Passes Away Suddenly At 77. Services Nov. 21st

Vallecito, CA...Gordon Sadler Sr. of Vallecito died Oct. 19 of an aneurysm while attending a family event in his native Iowa. He was 77. Known to many as "Coach", he taught and coached football and baseball at Northern California high schools for more than 50 years. His Lower Lake High teams won North Coast Section championships in baseball (1980) and football (1988) and he received the Gatorade Coaches Care Award in 1994. The football field at Lower Lake bears his name....

Arnold, CA...Gabriel “Goose” Neal Goszulak, age 16, born at Sonora Community Hospital, raised in Calaveras County and a Bret Harte student passed away Monday 10/19/15 at 11:00am due to injuries he sustained as a passenger in a motor vehicle accident. Gabriel is survived by his mother Amanda Goszulak, his father Tavius Aiton, and sister Cassidy. He is also survived by his large extended family who cared and loved him deeply...
Murphys, CA...Wayne Brown, the retired Superintendent of the Stanislaus Union School District, who was chosen in July to be the first full time Executive Director of the Mind Matters Clinic in Murphys, has resigned because of pressing family problems. “This is one of the more difficult decisions I have had to make but it is the right one for my family and me,” Brown wrote in an email to Jan Alcalde, chair of the clinic’s board of directors. “I do not do this lightly.”
