Mark Twain Medical Center is Once Again Promoting Pink in the Night in Honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

San Andreas, CA...Mark Twain Medical Center (MTMC) will be promoting the importance of early detection of breast cancer, followed by prompt treatment, saves lives. The entire community is invited to participate in the annual ‘Pink in the Night’ opening ceremony October 1st, in Valley Springs at the Terrace’s (Common Grounds) at 7:00pm. All those who currently have breast cancer, survivors and support providers will be able to light a candle in tribute to those who are currently battling breast cancer, in remembrance of those that bravely lost their battle, or ones that have survived the disease.

I asked it in a sweet voice, I asked it in a pleading voice, I asked it in an angry voice, but no matter how many times I asked, he never gave me the answer. I can remember the night— and some of you will know exactly what I’m talking about— when I felt like I could not take it anymore. My son just would not stay asleep and I had hit rock bottom, exhausted from waking up multiple times every night and having to soothe him back to sleep. My husband found me at 3:00 in the morning sobbing away in our living room.

The staff at Ironstone has been working on the grounds and they will be ready for all the wonderful cars, participants and guest who view them, please come join us Saturday and share in the excitement. So proud of my two Daughters Nicole Jones and Kelsey smith. They helped spear head this amazing community fundraiser which raised $15,108.06 in two days! Murphys, CA...Rummage and bake sale at 90 Big Trees Road in Murphys! Saturday 19th - Sunday 20th -- opens at 8am! 100 % of proceeds are going to people that have lost their homes in the Butte Fire! We are delivering it in person to as many families as we can on Monday the 21st! We are ALSO going to be standing at the four way stop in Murphys with boots to collect donations throughout the day! We need volunteers for this! We are accepting donations for the sale of any kind until Saturday and baked good till Sunday morning! Call 209-728-9131

Fatal Injuries To Los Altos Man In Friday Evening Collision

Murphys, CA…Last night a 67 year old Los Altos, CA man was driving his 1976 Fiat east on Hwy 4 at approximately 60 mph. As he came to a left curve he failed to negotiate the curve and allowed his vehicle to run off the roadway, down an embankment and collided with a tree. He was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered fatal injuries.
