Murphys, CA...The Kitchen at Newsome-Harlow is now open 7 days a week, presenting small plates and tasty tidbits to pair with their award winning wines. Hours are Sunday - Thursday noon to 5pm and Friday and Saturday noon to 8 pm. Although the menu changes with the availability of fresh produce, the current menu is below...

Murphys, CA...Do you love to dance? Here is your chance to shine while helping raise funds for the new Family Medical & Women’s Health Center in Angels Camp. Auditions will be held on Saturday, July 15, 9:00am-12:00pm, at Ironstone Vineyards. This casting call is for all amateur dancers over the age of 21. Loosely modeled after the popular television show, Dancing with the Stars, dance for the coveted Mirrored Ball Award and People’s Choice Award (most dollars raised). The actual event will be held at Ironstone on November 10th....

Murphys, CA...On July 4th, Aria Bakery was presented the 2012 Community Champion Award from Murphys Senior Center Executive Director Steve Shetzline. Aria owner, Lorraine De Groot accepted the award on behalf of the generous Aria Bakery team.

Murphys, CA...The fate of local cupcake queen, Karen Henderson of Lila & Sage, will be revealed on Sunday, July 15 when the “Cupcake Wars” episode featuring her and teammate Jami Saul of Hillbillies Restaurant, airs on the Food Network. Henderson and Saul have had to keep their lips sealed about the outcome of the show since taping the episode back in February....

Murphys, CA...It's time again for our spectacular annual Independence Day Celebration! This event is fun for the whole family! There will be great food and wine, bounce houses, climbing walls and games throughout the entire Ironstone winery complex. Gates open at 4:30. Beginning at dark, the fireworks show lasts about 30 minutes.Admission: Adults$10.00; 6 to 12 yrs $ 5.00; 5 & under FREE.
