Murphys, CA...A couple of weeks ago we stopped by the Black Bart Playhouse in Murphys on Sunday night to see how the 3 day run of "River of Skulls" had finished up. Everyone seemed very pleased as the it played to virtually sold out crowds every night. The screening of the locally shot film was a benefit for Resource Connection’s Calaveras Crisis Center. The stories in the film highlighted the lives of gold rush era women. The film...
Murphys, CA...On August 14th Murphys Park was working it's familiar magic for the 6th Annual Hoedown for the Habitat. The creek was flowing along with the event for this one of the largest fundraisers of the year for our local Habitat for Humanity area. The night featured music by The Fiddle Gang and Passin' Thru. Dinner with Ribs, Chicken, Pasta, Dessert and More..
