Tuolumne County Sheriff's Dept Asks...Do You know this man? |

Sonora, CA...From the Tuolumne Sheriff's Dept....Take a close look. Do you know this man? He allegedly used a credit card that was reported stolen on Wednesday, January 24th from a residence in Strawberry. He allegedly racked up over $2000 on the credit card at several locations in Sonora and Oakdale.

Public Intoxication Charges & More For Mi Wuk Village Man in Drunken Tirade At Church |

Mi Wuk Village, CA...Yesterday afternoon, we received a call from a church in Mi-Wuk Village reporting a drunk man was causing a disturbance and trying to fight the pastor. A deputy responded and arrested 36-year-old Kelly Correia for public intoxication and for punching another man. Correia earned himself more charges when he was found to be in possession of a concealed fixed blade knife on his person and possession of a concealed pistol in his vehicle.

Sonora, CA...The Toulumne County Court has determined that National Forest Land is now Open Range. This is a huge change considering it has been closed range since the gold rush days. This affects thousands of property owners in our county. Any land that borders the forest or in the forest can now run Cattle, if the FS wants to stop them they will need to build fences to keep them off FS land.

Robbie Davis Arrested For Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Cruelty and Theft from an Elder & More |

Columbia, CA...From the Tuolumne Sheriff's Dept..."On Saturday morning just after midnight, deputies responded to a home on Marble Quarry Road in Columbia for a reported assault. Deputies found a 65-year-old woman who had been assaulted by 49-year-old Robbie Davis. During the investigation, deputies learned Davis who was a friend to the woman had struck her in the arm, thrown her to the ground, kicked her and hit her on the head with a metal object causing a small laceration. During the altercation, Davis ripped a cabinet off the wall in the garage and took both set of keys to her vehicles and home before he fled the scene. Deputies arrested Davis when he later returned to the home.

A Warrant Arrest Leads to Discovery of Stolen Property. |

Jamestown, Ca...On Sunday morning, deputies contacted 34-year-old Bethany Windmiller at the Twin Pines Mobile Home Park in Jamestown regarding five warrants for her arrest. Windmiller was standing in the open passenger door area of a Ford truck. During a search of the vehicle, deputies located her purse containing methamphetamine and suspected stolen property. Three bank cards and a checkbook were later confirmed stolen. Windmiller was arrested for her warrants and fresh charges of stealing access cards or account information and possessing methamphetamine.

Weapons and Trespassing Arrest in Sonora |

Sonora, CA...On January 22, 2018, around 4:45 a.m., Sonora Police Officer Hankins responded to the Inns of California (350 S. Washington Street) for a report of a male subject causing a disturbance. Officer Hankins arrived and received information the subject causing the disturbance was identified as Joshua Jackson Murray, 38 years old of Sonora. Officer Hankins was advised that Murray had been trespassed by management earlier that same morning and was requested to leave the property by Sonora Police Officers.

Winter Storm Wednesday into Friday...Up to Three Feet of Snow in Some Areas |

Arnold, CA...Pacific storm will bring periods of moderate to heavy snow and gusty wind to the area this Wednesday afternoon into Friday. Heaviest snow and strongest wind expected this evening into early Thursday morning and again late Thursday afternoon and evening. Hazardous winter driving is likely during this period with travel delays and chain controls. Heavy snow. Travel will be very difficult to impossible. Damage to trees and power lines is possible. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 2 feet with localized amounts up to 3 feet.
