Above & Beyond Service From Sonora CHP

Posted by: thepinetree on 05/09/2018 10:07 AM
Jamestown, CA...On Tuesday, shortly after 6:00 pm, one of our officers contacted two pedestrians on SR-120 at SR-108, Yosemite Junction. One of the individuals required a wheelchair and they were unable to find transportation that could accommodate them, so they decided to walk. Generally our officers will provide a ride to a safe location but unfortunately the wheelchair did not fold and would not fit in the patrol utility vehicle. Exhausting all of the usual resources, our officer thought outside of the box and responded in his personal vehicle.
