Whiskey Bottle To The Head in Old West Style Bar Fight in Jamestown

On Friday night just after 9:00 p.m. Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the bar area of the Willow Steak house in Jamestown regarding a disturbance. They were told a customer, later identified as 22 year old Jeremy Burk of Jamestown, was intoxicated and had been asked to leave. Burk left but returned 30 minutes later and asked for a drink. Frazier refused to serve Burk and told him to leave. Burk walked out the front door but came back in through a side door and attacked Frazier behind the bar when his back was turned. Burk punched Frazier several times before hitting him over the head with a whiskey bottle...

Daytime Armed Robbery in Columbia

Columbia, CA...On Saturday June 4th just after 1200 noon, a lone gunman entered the office of Springfield Mini Storage on Brian Lane in Columbia and held the owner of the business at gunpoint while demanding money. After taking all the money, the suspect left the area in a vehicle driven by a second suspect. No suspects have been identified at this time....

Traffic Update...Two Incidents in Tuolumne County Right Now

Sonora, CA... Crews are working a couple of incidents right now. On O'Byrnes Ferry just noth of Hwy 120 a pickup is off the roadway. On Campbells Flat Road at Campo Seco Road a tow truck and an Acura have gotten together and are blocking a lane. Please use caution on the roadways as this weather system rolls through..

Jamestown, CA...The investigation into the April 9th scuba diving accident at the Harvard [Jamestown] Mine, revealed that Pollard suffered a dive related lung injury. Dedic was involved with the initial rescue by sharing his air. As a result, it appears, Dedic either was left with an insufficient amount of air, or was unable to manage his remaining air supply and drowned.

Tuolumne County, CA...On May 25, 2011, The Tuolumne Narcotics Team (TNT) ,with the assistance of Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division, Detective Division, Jail Division, Tuolumne County District Attorney’s Office Investigators, Sonora Police Department, California State Parole Agents, California Highway Patrol, and members of the California State Board of Equalization executed seventeen search warrants, and nine arrest warrants involving locations and persons involved with three Tuolumne County Marijuana Dispensaries. ....
