Copperopolis, CA...Crews are responding to a vegetation fire just south of the O'Byrnes Ferry Bridge. This is a full wildland response so multiple units and all aircraft are being sent to the fire. Please use caution in the area.... Update as of 6:13pm...quick work by ground and air has the fire contained. There will be a hand crew and a some engines on the scene to mop up for awhile...

Jamestown, CA...On 07/09/11 at approximately 5:45 p.m. Sheriff’s Deputies arrived at Rosalinda’s in Jamestown to look for attempted homicide suspect, 41 year old James Meyers of Ceres after he allegedly punched, choked, beat with a baseball bat and threatened to kill his live in Girl friend. The Victim managed to escape and was later hospitalized with serious injuries...

Jamestown, CA...Crews are working an accident at Jamestown Rd & Golf Links Rd. CHP is reporting a lane blocked and emergency vehicles are enroute. More to follow if needed...Update as of 9:15am July 8th...The CHP Release is in and a 9 year old Jamestown Girl was injured by a drunk driver in this accident and the CHP release is enclosed..

Groveland, CA...A head on collision yesterday on Hwy 120 injured 6 people. Two were flown by medi-flight to Modesto area hospitals and the rest were transported by ground to Sonora Regional Medical Center. Don Pedro, CA...Monday at approximately 6:15 p.m. Sheriff’s Dispatch received a call regarding a boating accident at Lake Don Pedro. A party of nine people were out boating in the Gardner Falls area when they noticed one of their group Jennifer Renee Heiser, 25 of Merced, was missing. After attempting to find her, they decided to go to the marina to report her as a missing person. While en route, it appears the boat’s anchor rope became entangled in the propeller causing the boat to stop abruptly and sink. One of the occupants, 27 year old Victoria Aldape of Merced, was seriously injured in the process. Another boat stopped to help and transported the group to the marina...

Arrest Made at Twain Harte Post Office

Twain Harte, CA....Monday, just after noon, Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a disturbance at the Twain Harte Post Office where 32 year old Evan Jacob Smith of Twain Harte was running in and out of the Post Office screaming at people and partially disrobing. Sgt. Neil Evans and Deputy Mike Pershall arrived and contacted Smith. He admitted to being under the influence of alcohol but denied having taken any other drugs. Smith was arrested and resisted being placed in a patrol car which .....

Twain Harte, CA...There has been an injury accident in a remote area off of Italian Bar Road in the Jupiter area. There will be extended response times and you may see multiple units heading in that direction.
Twain Harte, CA...Crews are responding to an accident reported on Robin Hood Drive where an ATV has collided with a house. Let's be careful out there... Update as of 6:25pm...luckily it doesn't look like the injuries will be severe in this incident.
Jamestown CA...It was a long morning for local emergency crews as they had a tough time with access issues, locked gates and uncertain locations. In the end One Turlock Female was flown out to a Modesto Hospital with Major Injuries.
