Posted by: thepinetree on 01/02/2013 04:12 AM
Sonora, CA...On a day to day and hour by hour basis we try our best to give you a snapshot of life here in our local communities. In breaking news with traffic, fires etc we cover Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties almost equally. In feature pieces we have a Calaveras centric flow as that is our home. Occasionally however we venture over into Tuolunne County for feature pieces as well. In this album we have some shots of the Meals and Wheels for Meals on Wheels event at Railtown, a TC Chamber Halloween Mixer and Assembly Woman Olsen's Meeting at the Opera House on Parks and we even caught Mark Truppner with another of his parade of women. Posted by: John_Hamilton on 01/02/2013 09:17 AM

If so this one may have been black ice related as on cold mornings the shaded section of Parrotts Ferry closer to the lake almost always has some icy patches. Please use caution and expect delays in the area.... Update Parrotts Ferry will remain closed due to ice and vehicles blocking lanes until the incident is cleared...
