Search Warrant & Felony Arrests In Sonora |

Sonora, CA... 4 November 2014, several storage sheds and containers belonging to the City of Sonora were burglarized. Among the items stolen was a large amount of ammunition and firefighting equipment. 10 December 2014, Aaron Jess, 31 of Sonora went to a local gun dealer and attempted to sell some of the stolen ammunition. The gun dealer contacted the police department, and Jess was contacted and detained. Jess was also in the possession of a large amount of methamphetamine, and other items indicating he was selling methamphetamine. Jess was also in possession of a bullet proof vest.

Tuolumne County Sheriffs Office Makes Arrests In Stabbing Case |

Columbia, CA...On Friday 11/21/14 Tuolumne County Deputies responded to the 22000 block of Gunsight Road, Columbia on a report of a stabbing. Arriving Deputies met with the victim a 27 year old male. The victim was suffering from a “stab wound” to the neck. Before being taken to the hospital for treatment, he was able to tell the Deputies that he had been in his residence when an acquaintance “broke in” and stabbed him. Sonora, CA...On 11/24/14 about 1155 a citizen reported to the Sheriff’s Office that he had observed what a appeared to be a deceased person, near the Railroad tracks on Tuolumne Road near the Junction Shopping Center. Sonora, CA...The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office is requesting that anyone that may have witnessed the shooting incident on Washington Street in the City of Sonora on Saturday 11/22/14 or specifically has audio or video recordings of the incident contact the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Division at (209) 694-2900.
