Groveland, CA....On Monday, 12/30/13, about 1130 P.M. Deputies were dispatched to the Evergreen Lodge on a report of a stabbing. A Law Enforcement Warden from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife was the first to arrive and witnesses pointed out the suspect, 23 year old, Rogelio Quintero. He detained Quintero until the arrival of Tuolumne County Deputies....

School Assignment Leads To Charitable Outreach

Murphys, CA...Transforming an assigned school project into a way to help less privileged children in a far off land is the goal of Clara Keirns, an eighth-grade student at the Sierra Waldorf School in Jamestown. The school requires all eighth-graders to choose something new to learn, engage the help of a mentor, and create a project. Clara decided she wanted to learn calligraphy and sought out Sister Terry Davis of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Stockton to help her....

San Ramon Man Arrested on Drug and Weapons Charges

Sonora, CA...CHP Officer Warzee stopped a white Chevrolet Suburban on Hwy 108, on 12/26/2013 at 9:55pm for driving erratically, possible DUI. Contacted driver Steven Schonert Noah from San Ramon and Passenger Stephenie Rae Relva from Loomis, and smelled a strong odor of Marijuana. Vehicle search located 674.7 grams of Marijuana all individually wrapped in weighed sizes ready for sales. Also found were 50 grams of Methamphetamine. Several used hypodermic needles with one that appeared to be Heroin, 4 unregistered guns, large capacity magazines, and and unidentifiable substance that looks like Honey-Hashish Oil. Both were placed under arrest for numerous violations....
