Jamestown, CA...Following a several month long investigation, the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Narcotics Team, Investigators and Patrol Units served a search warrant yesterday at a home in the 18000 block of Vista Drive in Jamestown. As a result of the search warrant, methamphetamine, items related to the sales and use of methamphetamine, firearms and ammunition were located.

Sonora,CA...Sonora Regional Medical Center will host a free educational presentation by Airell Nygaard, MD, titled “Get Your Life Back: You Don’t Have to Live With Hip and Knee Pain” on Thursday, January 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 pm. The presentation will be held at the Senior Center on Greenley Road in Sonora. Light snacks and refreshments will be served, and attendees will be given informational handouts before the presentation.

Sonora, CA...Sonora Regional Medical Center’s Hospice of the Sierra will once again host “Dinner With a Doc,” a benefit event on Saturday, February 25 at 5:30 p.m. at Black Oak Casino Resort Hotel, featuring guest chefs and local physicians Jeremiah Fillo, MD and Maryal Concepcion, MD. All proceeds from the dinner will benefit Hospice patients who cannot afford their services.
