Sonora Regional Medical Center welcomes Brett Lockman, D.O., a board-certified Physiatrist (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician) with additional certifications in Sports Medicine and Brain Injury Medicine. As an interventional physiatrist, Dr. Lockman provides minimally-invasive procedures for the treatment of acute and chronic conditions of the nerves, muscles and bones. His ultimate goal is to return individuals to their pre-injury level of function or maximize their performance using a range of treatment options including therapeutic exercise, medications, injections and spine implants. Sonora Area CHP Reports Over St. Patrick's Day Weekend

Jamestown, CA...On March 17, 2017 at approximately 8:50 pm, Michael Louis Oconnell was driving a black 2014 BMW X1crossover, eastbound on State Route 108, approaching Toban Way. Oconnell failed to negotiate a curve in the road and ran off of the roadway. Oconnell’s vehicle struck a tree with so much force that it pinned him in the driver’s seat. A tow truck was used to move the vehicle away from the tree before emergency personnel were able to extricate Oconnell out of the vehicle. Oconnell was subsequently flown to Doctor’s Medical Center in Modesto with major injuries. Drugs or alcohol are not suspected and Oconnell was wearing a seat belt.
Early Morning “High Risk” Search Warrant Leads To Arrests

Sonora, CA...At approx. 0700hrs, TNT Agents and TCSO SWAT served a “high risk” search warrant for narcotics, stolen property and firearms at a residence located 22808 Four Wheel Drive Rd., Sonora, CA. During the initial entry two female adults, identified as 53 year old Thoris Lynn Donovan and 35 year old Krisse Sue Fells were located and detained. A male juvenile, who was positively identified (but will remain unnamed due to his age) fled the residence.

Our Skeleton Crew will be battling the NorCal Vigilantes on March 25th at 6:30 pm at the High Country Sports Arena. Sonora, CA...LVNs at Avalon health center in Sonora have filed a petition to join a labor union! We feel are only way to get the care we need for our residents in this community the care they need is by forming this union! We as LVNs are making a stand and are coming together to make a better place for our residents!!

Traffic Update....Tornado Puts Vehicle Into Ditch & Downs Power Lines Off Of Twain Harte Drive

Twain Harte, CA...CHP reported earlier that a vehicle off was off the roadway and into a ditch near Twain Harte Drive & Ponderosa. CHP has updated their incident log to state that a tornado in the area dropped powerlines and an oak tree as well. The downed power lines kept the occupant of the vehicle until PG&E was able to respond and remove the lines. So it appears Mother Nature make a windy and destructive visit to the Twain Harte area this afternoon.
