Sonora Area CHP Reports Over St. Patrick's Day Weekend

Jamestown, CA...On March 17, 2017 at approximately 8:50 pm, Michael Louis Oconnell was driving a black 2014 BMW X1crossover, eastbound on State Route 108, approaching Toban Way. Oconnell failed to negotiate a curve in the road and ran off of the roadway. Oconnell’s vehicle struck a tree with so much force that it pinned him in the driver’s seat. A tow truck was used to move the vehicle away from the tree before emergency personnel were able to extricate Oconnell out of the vehicle. Oconnell was subsequently flown to Doctor’s Medical Center in Modesto with major injuries. Drugs or alcohol are not suspected and Oconnell was wearing a seat belt.
Early Morning “High Risk” Search Warrant Leads To Arrests

Sonora, CA...At approx. 0700hrs, TNT Agents and TCSO SWAT served a “high risk” search warrant for narcotics, stolen property and firearms at a residence located 22808 Four Wheel Drive Rd., Sonora, CA. During the initial entry two female adults, identified as 53 year old Thoris Lynn Donovan and 35 year old Krisse Sue Fells were located and detained. A male juvenile, who was positively identified (but will remain unnamed due to his age) fled the residence.

We feel are only way to get the care we need for our residents in this community the care they need is by forming this union! We as LVNs are making a stand and are coming together to make a better place for our residents!!
