San Andreas, CA...CALAVERAS TRANSIT SNOW INFORMATION 1:15 PM. RED LINE UPDATE: Columbia College has closed during the snow storm and we are sending one last bus to pick up students today. We are uncertain of the arrival time due to the difficult road conditions, but we will keep riders updated with the latest information. BLUE LINE UPDATE: Travel to Arnold is being suspended due to difficult road conditions. We will update as more information becomes available.

Sonora Man Arrested For Alleged Sexual Assualt |

Jamestown, CA...On Saturday evening, deputies responded to a home on Fourth Ave. in Jamestown for a report of a sexual assault. Deputies located 21-year-old Randall Lee Collins of Sonora, walking near the intersection of Fifth Ave. and Seventh St. in Jamestown. Collins was arrested and booked into the Tuolumne County Jail for rape by force and oral copulation. Collins was known to the victim as he is a friend to an acquaintance of hers.

Jamestown, CA...A brush fire has been reported near the Rock Shop on Hwy 108. It seems whether it is accidents or other issues like a brush fire this morning this area of Hwy 108 seems to make its way into the news cycle.

Sonora, CA...From the Tuolumne Sheriff's Dept..."There have been several vehicle break-ins reported to our office this week that occurred in the Jamestown area of Jamestown Road, Chicken Ranch Road and Seco Street. Valuables such as wallets and important paperwork were taken. These vehicles were left unlocked making it easy for the thief to take advantage of the opportunity and get away quickly. Remember to lock your doors and always remove and leave valuable items at home.

Missing Hiker Found Safe In Yosemite National Park |

Yosemite, CA...Alan Chow, the hiker missing in Yosemite National Park since Tuesday, February 20, has been found safe today. Chow, who was backpacking alone, was spotted from a National Park Service helicopter around Noon today above Wapama Fall in the Hetch Hetchy area after an extensive search the past several days. . He was transported to the Hetch Hetchy Ranger Station where he is doing well. Chow sustained minor injuries and has been reunited with family members
