Milton's Historic Masonic Lodge Sustains Heavy Damage In Morning Fire (Updated)

Posted by: thepinetree on 01/23/2016 10:26 AM
Milton, CA...Ou area had a bit of it's history go up in smoke this morning. The Old Masonic Lodge sustained at least 75% damage according to TCU Command. The nearby historical marker reads... "Keystone Lodge No. 161, F. & A.M., instituted in Copperopolis Dec. 19. 1982, at the height of the copper mining boom. Moved to 1881, to Milton, the terminal of the Stockton & Copperopolis Railroad, which, because of the collapse of copper mining, never reached its intended goal. Dedicated to those who sought to perpetuate the moral teachings of Freemasonry. To them we gratefully acknowledge our debt."

Traffic Update....Minor Injuries To Party Who Rolled Vehicle And Was Able To Drive Away

Posted by: thepinetree on 01/19/2016 04:44 PM
Valley Springs, CA...A very lucky party with only minor injuries was transported to Mark Twain Medical Center after her vehicle rolled on Burson Road but landed back on it's wheels and was still drivable enough to drive away after the accident. Her Mom & Dad took her to the hospital. No word yet on what type of vehicle but this accident should be a decent sales tool. Like the old Timex commercials "Takes A Licking But Keeps On Ticking"
