The Memorial Service is Wednesday January 4, 2016 11:00 A.M. at Clements Community Church located at 18544 E. Walnut St. in Clements, CA. A luncheon will be following at the church. Jenny Lind Shooting Update, 31 Year Old Jeremiah Nathaniel James Is the Deceased & Jason McVey Booked On Manslaughter Charges

San Andreas, CA...The Calaveras County Coroner’s Office has identified the 31 year old shooting victim as Jeremiah Nathaniel James of Valley Springs. Detectives learned of an alleged quarrel that occurred on the 9000 block of Scenic Valley Drive prior to the shooting between Jeramiah James and 36 year old Jason Robert William McVey. Jason McVey has been identified as the alleged shooter. Jason McVey has been booked into the Calaveras County Jail for 192(A) PC, 29800(a) PC, and 30305(a)(1) PC, Bail $ 1,180,000.00. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.

Jenny Lind, CA...On 12/27/16 at approximately 11:55 PM, the Calaveras County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Calaveras Consolidated Fire Station in Jenny Lind for a gunshot victim. The victim was transported to the fire station by a possible witness to the shooting. Deputies arrived on scene and observed a 31 year old male who had sustained multiple gunshot injuries to his lower abdomen. The victim succumbed to his injuries on scene. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.

Valley Springs, CA...The Valley Springs Business Association's 34th Annual Christmas Parade brought the community together on the the first Saturday in December. This is a great, small town parade that celebrated season, Valley Springs and the surrounding communities. From veterans, law enforcement & fire department to car groups, FFA, church groups & more. This parade showcased the people and communities of the Valley Springs area. We tried to get a shot or two of each float. We have also included 56 Films very nice video of the parade...
