Calaveras County CA...On 9-11-17 The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Team assisted County Code Enforcement Officers with the execution of Marijuana Abatement Warrants which had been obtained for an unregistered marijuana cultivation sites. These sites were located in the 1100 block of Arapaho Lane in Burson, Ca, and in the 6200 block of Michel Road in Mountain Ranch, CA.

Mokelumne Hill, CA...The Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce along with the Mokelumne Hill Merchants will be hosting the 6th Annual Wine on Main on October 14th, 2017 from 3pm till 6pm pm on Main Street in Mokelumne Hill. This event is sponsored by the Chamber Champions Mark Twain Medical Center, Calaveras County Fairgrounds, Adventist Health Sonora, Hunt & Sons, CalTel, Sierra Pacific Industries, Mark Twain Health Care District, AT&T and Senders Market.

Minor Injures & DUI For Lodi Man in 70mph Collision With Tree on Hwy 12 |

Valley Springs, CA....On September 12th at 7:22pm a 41 year old Lodi man was driving his 1999 Toyota eastbound on Hwy 12 east of Oak Leaf Lane at approximately 70 mph. He allowed his to drive onto the the north shoulder where it impacted a tree. He luckily only had minor injuries and was transported to Mark Twain Medical Center for treatment.

Major Injuries for Valley Spring Man in Collision on Baldwin Street |

Valley Springs, CA...Wise was driving his Ford southbound on Baldwin St, south of Usher Dr, at an unknown speed. He unsafely turned his Ford Ranger from a direct course of travel causing the pickup to travel off of the roadway and onto the dirt shoulder. As a result, he lost control of the vehicle and it collided with a tree.

San Andreas, CA...Mark Twain Medical Center (MTMC) will be holding its 19th Annual Fall Health Fair on Saturday, September 30th from 7am to noon at the Hospital Campus in San Andreas. “Our purpose is to serve our community in many ways,” said Bob Diehl, Hospital President. “MTMC cares deeply about the health and wellbeing of our community members and beyond. Hosting our annual health fairs is just one way that we are able to provide valuable and needed resources in our rural community.”

Valley Springs Elementary Briefly on Lockdown Today |

Valley Springs, CA...At around 1:05pm today, a Calaveras County Sheriff's Office deputy was patrolling Pine Street in Valley Springs and observed a subject in front of a residence with what looked like a firearm. Deputies made contact with this subject while Sheriff Dispatch notified nearby Valley Springs Elementary School.
