| Murphys, CA....The Calaveras County Coroners Office has released that it was Robbie Mast who passed away in the drowning accident near Candy Rock over the weekend. Our thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family. |

Valley Springs, CA...Yvonne Nicole Minyard age 43 born 06/05/1972 in Castro Valley, Ca Resided in Hayward. Ca. her entire life passed away on April 16, 23016 at the home of her mother, Pamela Venable in Valley Springs, Ca. Yvonne graduated high school, attended Cosmetology School and later Heald College for Pharmacy Technology. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 2600 in San Andreas, Ca. Her hobbies were shooting pool in pool leagues and loved Country music.

| Angels Camp, CA...Helen Arlington Age 75 died April 25, 2016 at her residence in Angels Camp. She was born January 29, 1941 in Colorado. She was a resident of Angels Camp for 58 years. She is Survived by her husband Husband of 57 years, Anthony Arlington of Angels Camp. She leaves behind Three Children, Anthony who preceded her in death, Son- Richard Serva of Angels Camp and Joy and husband Bill Clayton of Fort Garland, Colorado. Also 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren . She leaves behind two sisters and Two brothers... |

Angels Camp, CA...George Daniel Hunt Born June 18, 1929 and went to his eternal home with Jesus on April 30, 2016. He was 87 years old. George was born in Stockton, California and grew up on the Hunt Ranch outside of Linden. He attended Bellota Elementary and Linden Elementary finishing his education at Pasadena. George served as a military police officer during the Korean War. After the service he worked on the family ranch and walnut orchard until 1970 when they sold the ranch and moved to Angels Camp where he built his family home.

Murphys, CA...Raymonda (Raye) Lee Thompson, born July 6, 1942 in Santa Monica, California, passed away in her home in Murphys, California on May 5, 2016; she was 73 years old. Heaven is now her home. Raye graduated from San Lorenzo High School in 1960 and met her husband, Larry, while attending San Jose State University. Raye and Larry would have been married 53 years this October.

Mokelumne Hill, CA...Surrounded by love, Sydney "Syd" Mathos Cilenti passed away at Mark Twain Convalescent Hospital (San Andreas) early Sunday evening on May 8, 2016. She was 83. Syd considered herself a life-long resident of Calaveras County having moved here in 1953. With her husband, Joe Mathos, Syd ran the gas station in downtown Moke Hill across the street from Shutter Tree Park until the late 1960's.

Arnold, CA...Dear Arnold Rim Trail Equestrians, Cyclists, and Hikers, It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to Dave Edney who passed away earlier this year suddenly and unexpectedly from a heart attack. Almost everyone who came into contact with the Arnold Rim Trail Association over the past eight years knows "Captain Dave". He led our volunteer trailbuilding days, he led the Cougar Rock sunset hikes, he was a steering committee member, and he was the Captain of the Ebbetts Pass Aid Station for the Death Ride which ARTA has been staffing for the past four years. Everyone loved Dave for his energy, his indefatigable spirit, and his infectious smile.

West Point, CA...Colby was born November 18, 2001 in Fresno, California. Colby was an active and prominent 4H member showing guinea pigs, rabbits, pigmy goats, and pigs. He loved being a member of the West Point's basketball, soccer, and T-ball teams. He was also a Webelos Cubscout participating in pack meetings, events, and outings. Colby was a friend to many and great at leading others at the local community center's food bank, keeping meticulous records. He devoted time and energy to provide services for others in need and loved his music.

Murphys, CA...Glenda Jean Hampton, age 76, of Murphys, went home to be with the Lord on Tues. April 12, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Hampton was a 50 year resident of Calaveras County, spending most of her childhood in White Pines, CA. She was a native of Oklahoma and very proud of her Cherokee Heritage.

Murphys, CA...Roberta Ann Wallace, was born on October 22 1946 at Columbia Way Hospital and died peacefully in her sleep, Thursday April 7 at 10:35 pm at Avalon Mark Twain Convalescent Hospital. She lived to be almost 70. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and daughter. She was a full time homemaker and married to Robert Wallace from Murphys.
