Calaveras County, CA...Amber Rose Harstell so sadly passed away on December 24, 2009. She was born on July 12, 1989. Amber Rose Hartsell was born on July 12, 1989 in Redding, CA. She sadly lost her life at the young age of 20 on December 24, 2009. Raised in the Arnold community with her two brothers, family and friends, she spent her most recent years on the wait staff at Sarafina’s, as a lifeguard, and as an elementary school volunteer. Angels Camp, CA....Fr. Henry Johnston, Pastor Emeritus, has passed away. He was known as Pastor Emeritus at St Patrick's Church, Angel's Camp where he served from 1985 - 2002. Survived by sister, Frances O'Dowda, Ravensdale, Co. Louth, Ireland and brother Thomas, Dundalk, County Louth Ireland, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and nephews. Prior to Angel's Camp, Fr. Johnston served the Stockton diocese as an associate pastor in both Stockton and Modesto. A ready friend, Fr. Johnston was widely loved by his parishioners. She became a Christian at the age of 12 and married Lloyd Wiegand on June 14, 1957. Pat enjoyed crocheting, ceramics and other crafts. She has been a member of First Baptist Church of West Point since 1974. In 1975 she started Blue Mountain Transportation. She enjoyed helping people when ever the need arose. They all love her, They will miss her and they all look forward to seeing her in Heaven.....

Arnold, CA...Lifetime resident, Ryan Michael Theis, passed away on December 9th, 2009 at his residence in Arnold. He was only 24. He was a Carpenter, and in General Construction and a Snow Plow Driver for 6 years. He is survived by his fiance, Kathy Gleason. nephews, Michael Brock Theis and Caleb Scott Theis; a niece, Khyliee Anne Jarrell; his father Richard Theis; brothers, Richard Theis and a sister, Keeli Daniel Theis; grandma's, Jean Anne Theis and Jackie Schab. Copperopolis, CA...After a year long battle with cancer, Leslie Rabeneau was laid to rest on the evening of December 1st, 2009. Leslie was surrounded by the love of her family in the comfort of her home when she passed. Her uplifting, positive spirit will be remembered by the many people and lives that she touched. Services will be held in the spring of 2010 when the weather is warm- Leslie’s favorite time of the year. ....

Calaveras County, CA....Stanley Ray Nixon, of Farmington, passed away of Natural Causes on November 28th, 2009. He was 47. Stanley died at Hospice pf San Joaquin House in Stockton. He was a Mill Wright for 26 years and a member of the Carpenter's Union. Stanley is survived by his girlfriend, Toni Perry. She was also his best friend, and love of his life; his son, Daniel Ray Nixon of Manteca; a daughter, Dana Lynn Nixon of Manteca; parents Jo Leen Nixon of Angels Camp and Robert Nixon of Altaville; a sister Tamera Smith of Vallecito; grandmother, Blanche Shipman of Cottonwood, CA. San Andreas, CA....Zelphia "Louise" Watson, Age 74, passed away on November 21 2009 of Natural Causes in Austin Gardens, Care Center in Lodi, CA. She was a Homemaker. A native of Tulsa, OK. Lois moved to Calaveras County in 1945. Then moved to WA in 1958, Los Angeles in 1978, and settled in Lodi in 1988 and has lived there since then. All her family called her "Aunt Wee".....

Bernhard, retired Food Industry Executive, died on November 21st, at age 79 due to complications from a car accident in Angels Camp on November 17th, 2009. He was a native of San Francisco. A graduate of New Mexico Military Institute, Roswell, NM. and of San Jose State University where he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. Robert was a Retired Supplier to the Retail Food Industry after 40 years of service as Vice President of Pioneer Soap Co., Inc. in San Francisco. Director of Distribution of Mothers Cake and Cookie Co., in Oakland, CA., and Pioneer Associates of Arnold, CA. He was active in the CA Grocers Association and the Western Association of Food Chains Inc. He was a 50 year member of Illuminations, Inc., and was a dimmed headlite of the Illuminators.
