Second Fatality Added to Yesterday's Tragic Tuolumne County Motor Vehicle Accident (Updated with Second Victims Name)

Soulsbyville, CA...CHP has released the details of yesterday's fatal collision in Tuolumne County the claimed the lives of two local residents. 60 year old Ronald Lancaster of Sonora, perished at the scene and a 63 year old Sonora Woman (Sheri D. Pratt) succumbed to her injuries overnight at a Modesto hospital. Pending identification. For some reason she made a sudden movement into the oncoming traffic which Mr. Lancaster was unable to avoid. San Andreas, CA...A Celebration of Life is planned for Jeremy S. Peters this Saturday, March 7th at 1pm at the Metropolitan in San Andreas. Jeremy tragically passed away in a motor vehicle accident in Mountain Ranch on Sunday. He was only 34. A Native of Modesto, Jeremy grew up in West Point and has lived there most of his life. He has been working at Senders Market in Mountain Ranch for approximately 16 years. He was a member of the NRA.....

San Andreas, CA...Longtime San Andreas Resident, Donna Louise Wills passed away at her residence of Natural Causes on March 4, 2009. She was only 51. Donna was a longtime resident of San Andreas for 24 years. She was born in Antioch, CA. on June 24th, 1957. " Donna grew up there, and enjoyed fishing riding her Harley, spending time with her children and grandchildren. She had a way with nature and everything outdoors. She has five beautiful children and four grandchildren to carry on her legacy that she loved. I know not just our family, but many more will be missing her. God Bless Her! ".......

Clinton J. Cook of Valley Springs Has Passed Away

Valley Springs, CA....Clinton J. Cook, 81, of Valley Springs, passed away on March 1, 2009 in San Andreas. Clint was born October 20, 1927 in Stockton, CA to Carl and Amerine Cook. Clint graduated from Stockton High School in 1946. After retirement, the Cooks moved to Valley Springs in 1976 to run Cook's Landing until his second retirement in 1993. Clint was an avid gardener and fisherman. He will always be remembered for his singing and giggles. Clint was especially devoted to his wife Lorraine of 54 years. He is also survived by his children, Kelle Cook-Johnson and David Cook of Valley Springs. Clint was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters....

Born in Stockton, California, June 29, 1948, Janine Marie Lodato-Rakoczi passed away on the morning of February 25, 2009 from complications of multiple sclerosis. Raised in San Andreas, she has resided their for the past 8 years. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Laszio Rakoczi of San Andreas; her father, Jack Lodato; her brothers, J.D. Lodato and James Lodato; her sister, Jennifer Lodato Brook; nephews Zack Lodato, Avery Lodato and Matthew Brock, and nieces Ashley Lodato Albright and Bronwen Lodato; her step-daughter Katherine Kramer and step-granddaughter, Sherry Kerr; three grand nieces and three grand nephews.....

Mountain Ranch, CA...Mountain Ranch Road was the scene of a horrible accident early Sunday afternoon when three Mountain Ranch residents lost their lives. Kallie Montgomery 22, Jeremy Peters 34 and Skye Montgomery 17 succumbed to their injuries. The accident occurred as a light rain was falling. The CHP release is enclosed.....

Denair, CA...Paul Harvey was a part of the daily routine of my life on the farm I grew up on. My mom usually had Paul Harvey's daily broadcasts on in the kitchen when I was getting ready for school. I grew up with his folksy wisdom and optimistic view of the ole USA and it's citizens. People such as Paul Harvey and my father (Both Oklahoma Boys) who was two years older than Mr. Harvey, were upbeat and positive about our lives and futures. They were upbeat in their world view even though they were young men in the depression era and saw the ravages of World War Two. I have a special affection for citizens of that great generation who just instinctively knew that any problem could be solved with hard work and determination...

"Today I have bad news. My dear and loving sister, artist Irene Cetera-Parkeson passed away on the evening of February 3rd of a sudden heart attack. Irene’s work can be seen all over the county. Her beautiful landscaping with plants and rocks work will remain for ages to come. Irene was a loving, caring and understanding person. She always shared what she had and helped others. She loved the woods and her animals. Many times fostered wild orphaned and creatures We are all heart broken and mourn deeply. Her nephews are devastated and I, her sister can’t yet get into my head that she is gone. Her husband Dan is shattered. Irene was his partner for 21 years.....

Longtime White Pines resident, Bruce Daniel Linebaugh passed away on February 13th, 2009 at his residence in White Pines. He was 77 years old. Mr. Linebaugh was Co-owner of SC Linebaugh Logging Company for 52 years. He was a naval veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife Sarah Annette Linebaugh of White Pines and sons Kevin and Craig Linebaugh also of White Pines, 11 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.
