Ebbetts Pass Fire Welcomes Fire Engine T-431 |

Arnold, CA...The Ebbetts Pass Fire District has added a 1989 Pierce Ladder Truck to its apparatus fleet at the District's headquarters in Arnold. Having served the public in Daly City for the North County Fire Authority (NCFA) the Truck was to be declared surplus in 2010. Deputy Fire Chief Frank Panacci notified retired Assistant Chief Don Cucci and retired Daly City Chief Bob O'Donnell of the impending NCFA action. Chief O'Donnell, an Ebbetts Pass Fire District property owner, contacted the District to discover if there would be interest in acquiring the Truck....

Start shopping at 8am sharp both days! Another weekend filled with wall to wall bargains to benefit the Independence Hall in Arnold. This is their largest fund-raiser of the year for the Hall. Men's Club of Sequoia Woods Gives Check to Friends of Library |

Arnold, CA....The Men's Club members of Sequoia Woods gave a check to the Friends of the Arnold Library in the sum of $5,095.24. This was done at the Library after the Friends of the Library adjourned their board meeting. Fran Devlin, the library attendant was also present. The money was the result of the Charity Classic put on by the Sequoia Woods Men's Club in conjunction with the 18 hole Ladies and the Sequoians (9 hole Ladies) of Sequoia Woods. The event took place on July 10th at Sequoia Woods Golf and Country Club.....
