The speakers for this months meeting will be Dennis Lewis and Jeane Kennedy. Dennis Lewis is a retired police officer and the Chair-Program Manager for the Calaveras Citizen Corps Council-Community Emergency Response Team and the Red Cross Mass Care Lead for Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties. He will explain the CERT and Red Cross Response to a disaster....

Except southwest 20 to 30 mph over ridges. Tonight Rain and snow showers. Colder. Lows 15 to 29 higher elevations...27 to 35 lower elevations. Snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches. Snow level 3500 feet. Prevailing southwest winds up to 15 mph...except southwest 15 to 25 mph over ridges.

San Andreas, CA, April 6, 2015- Mark Twain Medical Center, (MTMC) along with other national, state and community organizations, are leading a massive effort to highlight the importance of advance healthcare decision-making—an effort that has culminated in the formal designation of April 16 as National Healthcare Decisions Day (NHDD). As a participating organization, MTMC is providing information and tools for the public to talk about their wishes with family, friends and healthcare providers, and execute written advance directives (healthcare power of attorney and living will) in accordance with California state laws. Beginning Saturday April 11th through Sunday April 19th, MTMC is welcoming the public throughout the day to the main lobby and the Out Patient Lab with free information about advance care planning and advance directive forms....

Additional snow accumulations up 1 to 3 inches. Snow level 4500 feet decreasing to 3500 feet after midnight. Prevailing southwest winds up to 15 mph with gusts to around 35 mph...except southwest 15 to 30 mph with gusts to around 45 mph over ridges. Monday Mostly cloudy.
