Angels Camp, CA....Bear Valley Mountain Resort held their Winter preview to the local community this evening at Greenhorn Creek Resort. They also gave special recognition to Local Tough Mudders and held preview meetings for the Race, Devo, All Mountain and Freestyle Teams. The largest news is that Bear Valley is opening up the "Village Bowl" which adds 400 new acres of ski-able terrain to the resort. With this Bear Valley becomes the only resort in California to expand this year....

Ebbetts Pass is open this week but will probably close again this weekend as there is a cold storm heading our way. The rivers are now officially closed for the season. You can fish Lake Alpine, Spicer as long as the road stays open, and White Pines Lake in Arnold. Please be prepared for any rapid change in the weather in the high country. ....

They are now Noon-6:00 p.m. They will also be feeding any and all of the PG&E crews that are here helping this community.
