Hey Good People!!! Great Snow, "Pure Mountain Fun", Eco Bikes & More! Come Up And Play!! ~ Mattly Trent

Posted by: thepinetree on 12/30/2016 08:48 AM
Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! A bit cooler this morning at 5am with 35F on the register and calm winds. The projected high today should come in around 43F as the low pressure kicks in and the closed low and upper level system clashes ahead of the coming snow over the next 4 to 5 days. Tonight snow showers are expected with less than a half inch expected but we could see that snow level drop to 4000' later tonight and early Saturday morning. A brief shot of high pressure will arrive Saturday before the next system arrives which will produce snowfall in the 5-7" range starting Sunday night and carrying over into Monday with those snow levels dropping down to 3000' initially then possibly 1500' or so. Snow showers are expected to carry into mid week but stay tuned as those totals have a fair chance of increasing. Ecobike Adventures are here for the week with Big Fat Tire bikes with electric assist for tons of fun riding on the snow or dirt! The venue for this event has shifted from down in town to back up at the Ski Area due to conditions so you need to go check those bikes out. Come on up and enjoy our "Pure Mountain Fun" ethos!!!!!! Stay tuned..................
