Posted by: thepinetree on 02/24/2017 12:40 PM
Bear Valley, CA....Hey Good People! 58" in the last week and well riding is exceptional with the continued cold temps on the backside of the recent storm system. Continued upper level low pressure will be in effect through the weekend and into Tuesday so expect snow showers to continue until that time. Today the high comes in around 25F with mostly sunny skies and East winds from 5-10mph. The second pulse of this low pressure system will arrive Sunday and drop snow levels down to a possible 1-2000' and 2-4" is expected for that system with snow ratios of 15:1 which equals super light density snowfall and we all know what that means.......Someone's been talking to Ullr............ Come up to Bear Valley and experience our local "Pure Mtn Fun" ethos and stay tuned..........

Posted by: thepinetree on 02/24/2017 04:58 PM
Arnold, CA...A quick Message about White Pines Park and Blagen Road from Supervisor Michael Oliveira: By now, it’s common knowledge that we have a serious issue with the storm damage in Calaveras County and on Blagen Road in White Pines. Blagen Road is one area that has been impacted by damage as many other areas in Calaveras County. On Tuesday, February 28th, at the Board of Supervisors meeting, a Disaster Response Program will be presented by Public Works Director Jeff Crovitz. During the discussion of this item, the Blagen Road issue will be reviewed. I have extended an email invitation to CCWD General Manager David Eggerston and District 3 Representative Bertha Underhill to attend to provide input for a solution to the problem.
