Bear Valley Weather & Conditions Update ~By Mattly Trent
Posted by: thepinetree on 02/19/2015 09:42 AM
Bear Valley, CA... Hey Good People! Today will be a stellar sunny day with a high near 57. Light and variable winds becoming west 5 to 8 mph in the morning. The High pressure ridge takes a break today and breaks down slightly and brings with it the next system to move into NorCal on Friday. Tight pressure gradients will bring breezy conditions Friday and into Saturday as a weak weather system moves in over NorCal. A very slight chance of snow on Saturday then back to a high pressure return and clear/warm weather into next week. Bring the family and friends up for some "Pure Mtn Fun" as it's a great time to take advantage of some of the deals we have going on. Check our web page-www.bearvalley.com and our Facebook page for more info on upcoming events. Peace Out, Mattly

Arnold, CA....We tend to see our area through rose colored glasses at times. But even we have to admit there are a few turkeys living amongst us. Greenhorn Creek, Valley Springs, Mokelumne Hill and most of our communities have a few. This morning we verified that even Arnold is not exempt. Males gettin all puffed up, strutting around and thinking they are good enough for 3 or even 4 females. Acting like they are bigger than they really are....yes it happens...even here.

Bear Valley, CA....In spite of whatever mother nature does or doesn't throw at them Bear Valley Mountain keeps their season rolling on. With snowmaking, and expert grooming not only are they open but delivering a great experience. Bear Valley has an opportunity to increase their market share in the skiing & boarding community as they have demonstrated they can produce good results even in drought years. Let's hope they bring back lift served mountain biking this summer and continue what Skyline does in creating year round resorts.
