Bullfrogs Swim Past Lions To Open League Swim Season

Angels Camp, CA...On Friday the Bret Harte Aquatic Center was filled as Bret Harte opened the season hosting Linden. The Lady Bullfrogs swam past Linden 10-60. The Bull Bullfrogs paddled by the Lions 109-47. Some of the kids turned in some great times and already swam under the marks needed to qualify for sections.

Arnold, CA...As many of you may know, disaster has struck a family in our community. The Terry Family lost their home in a tragic house fire on March 7th. Many of your children go to school with the Terry children at both Avery Middle School and Albert Michelson Elementary. If your family desires to help, please know that a fund has been created at Chapel in the Pines to allow the community to financially help the Terry family of five recover and get back on their feet.

Angels Camp, CA...We were able to regroup to make Bret Harte Grad Night happen again this year! We are still in need of a decoration chairperson, parents to help with decorating before Grad Night and volunteers for the event. We will be having our regular meeting this Wednesday, March 15th at 6:30 pm in the Learning Center at Bret Harte.

Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! Another sunny day on tap for today with a high of 55F and a North wind of 5-7mph it should be a stellar day. Conditions on the Mtn are exceptional and there were smiles across the miles Saturday and it looks to be a repeat today. Abundant snowfall this season has set us up for great spring conditions and having wrote that, we're extending our season for another week! April 23rd is now our official closing date so if you are thinking of coming up for your spring break we'll be open as most other Nor/Central Cal resorts will be closing a week earlier. Come up to Bear Valley and experience our local "Pure Mtn Fun" ethos and stay tuned..........
