Lake Alpine, CA...From Caltrans District 10..."Camp Connell Area Maintenance Supervisor Mike Johnson made his way up Ebbetts Pass (SR-4) yesterday and sent back some photos of his crew working their way to the east end of Mosquito Lake at the Pacific Grade Summit. Mike reports that the snow is usually deepest at the old corrals at Sandy Meadows and that they didn’t expect to be that far along until later in the week. Warm weather and a new piece of equipment they are using this year are helping them make even better progress than anticipated.

Arnold, CA...The Elevated Evening News™ Live Tonight at 6pm. The GABA Town Hall had some great content and speakers tonight. Joel Metzger brought the audience up to speed on the upcoming CCWD rate increases & the Calaveras Visitors Bureau's Lisa Boulton told of the joys of promoting tourism in our area and also about the potential future of a TOT tax increase.

Arnold, CA...Dyemusica has been bringing original jam and reggae music to the motherlode since 2012. They have decided to disband due to health issues and as Kevin is leaving the state. Dyemusica are ardent supporters of local charities, have made original music and made many friends and they'd love for everyone to come out one last time to celebrate thier catalog of music and say goodbye to a Gold Country standard as they want to thank everyone for all the fun and memories!
