Fair Shares Achievement Award with Chamber of Commerce!

Angels Camp, CA..(Frogtown, USA)...The Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee received 13 different awards at the January Western Fairs Association Convention. One of the awards was an Achievement Award for Guest Services during the annual Fair. The Calaveras Chamber of Commerce is our program partner. They facilitate guest services during the event. The Calaveras County Fair presented their award to the Chamber of Commerce. Without our community partners we could not facilitate the annual fair. Our success is their success!

Join the UCCE Master Gardeners of Amador County for their free Public Education class, “Small Space Gardening Styles: raised beds, square-foot gardens & straw bales.” on Saturday, March 7, 2020. Raised beds allow you to grow in areas with poor soils or in a variety of containers. Square foot gardens show what you can grow in a single square foot. Gardening in straw bales will give you a built-in medium that can be located and relocated from year to year anywhere you have a sunny location. Master Gardeners will share the pros and cons of these small space gardening solutions. Handouts will be provided. This class is free and open to the public.
