San Andreas, CA...On Thursday, March 26, 2020, Calaveras Public Health confirmed a new case of novel coronavirus or COVID-19. The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the county is now three. This additional positive case is a Valley Springs resident who is currently receiving care outside of the county.

Sacramento, CA....The California Department of Public Health today announced the most recent statistics on COVID-19. California now has 2,535 confirmed cases. The increase in testing numbers reported today largely come from commercial, provider and academic labs that have increased testing capacity and are now reporting that data to the state. The biggest labs included in this count include Quest, LabCorp, Kaiser, University of California and Stanford.
