Frogtown, CA...On Saturday M arch 29th, HRC will present their 2nd Annual Baby Fair and Children's Day at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds. Go and join them for some "Under the Sea" themed fun for the entire family from 10am-2pm. Free parking and admission. There will be door prizes for kids and parents.

San Andreas, CA...Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital is sponsoring a Health Career Fair at Toyon Middle School for all 8th graders on March 21, 2008. The purpose of the fair is to help develop productive careers by developing and identifying goals for high school and post secondary academic paths. There are 265 8th graders at Toyon Middle School who are participating in the Fair. As of today there are 29 booths representing health care careers, including some of the areas first responders including air and ground ambulance and sheriff’s officers. The hospital alone has over 80 vocations that will be represented...

San Andreas, CA.....San Andreas, CA: Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital has announced the April 1, 2008 opening of a new Occupational Health Program in Angels Camp supporting Calaveras, Amador and Tuolumne businesses. The program will be located at the Creekside Professional Building at 1300 Kurt Drive and is supported by St. Joseph’s Occupational Health Center, bringing years of experience to our foothill communities. The Occupational Health Program is designed to reduce the risk of injuries to workers and promote overall health in the workplace.....
"Did you know…the Hospital Foundation recently announced a campaign in support of Women's Health to purchase digital mammography technology."

Angels Camp Family Medical Center Experiences Phone Problems |

Angels Camp, CA....The Family Medical Center, located in the Angels Town Square in Angels Camp, has been experiencing phone system problems, especially with voice mail messaging . Apparently the problem has existed for some time, as was discovered when many phone messages were found in a secondary file. “We have been working closely with AT&T and Advanced Communication Systems to identify and fix the problem” said Larry Cornish, V.P. Facilities and Project Development. “At this time we feel the best approach is to start fresh with new programming and perhaps a new system”....

San Andreas, CA...Mark Twain St. Joseph's Facilities and Project Development Director, Larry Cornish addressed the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors this morning on all of the great things that are happening at the Hospital. He brought the Hospital's Business of the Year award up & also promoted an upcoming Job Fair that will be held at Toyon Middle School to showcase the healthcare jobs available in the area. One of the biggest news items in his update, was the announcement that the Mark Twain St. Joseph's Healthcare District will be building a 13,000 square foot medical facility in the new Copperopolis Towne Square....
