Bear Valley, CA...We just sent one of our lowly field corespondents out into the elements for our current Schmuck Report so we could video their pain and shivering for your enjoyment. It is snowing hard right now with about 6 inches of snow accumulation so far with snow in the forecast as far out as the radar can see. Frogtown, USA.....The Calaveras County Fair & Frog Jumping Jubilee has their monthly meetings on tap for Wednesday February 11th, 2009. The first meeting to start off the afternoon is the Operations and Maintenance Committee Board of Directors Meeting at 2pm; The Finance Committee Meeting at 3:30pm; The Marketing Committee to follow then then the Board of Directors last but not least at 5pm. San Andreas, CA...MTSJ hosted a very nice luncheon last Thursday to kick off the the 2009 Americian Cancer Society Daffodil Days. Sandy Stoddard from the ACS office in Stockton was on had to fill local residents and volunteers on all the details. Calaveras County, CA...The Friends of the Fair is a newly formed nonprofit organization with the purpose of raising money for capital and program improvements at the Fair grounds.
