"Dueling Documents"...The Ray Waller Saga Continues...Let the Disclosures Begin

San Andreas, CA....The Ray Waller Saga has erupted into the pages of local newspapers and onto the web yet again. The Stockton Record and the Calaveras Enterprise initiated public records requests to get additional details on the events surrounding Mr. Waller's dismissal. We have also been forwarded additional documents from Mr. Waller in response to the county documents. This is probably just the start of disclosures in this case. We understand that efforts may be made in the next week to release into the public record additional documentation on this case as well. This is a case that just seems will not go away...

She recently served as the personal chef to Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm and her family at their private residence on Mackinac Island.....

Murphys, CA....The Native Son's Hall in downtown Murphys had about 30 attendees tonight for the First District 4 Supervisor Candidates Night. The night's event was sponsored by the Mountain Chronicle of Arnold and Vida Mona Winery of Murphys. The candidates present this evening were longtime Supervisor, Tom Tryon, Lee Seaton, Sarah Lunsford and Ron Klass. Also present, were the current sitting Supervisors of Calaveras County. It was a full debate style show with two minute opening statements, panel questions, audience questions and closing arguments....

Angels Camp, CA...The City of Angels hosted a presentation on Retail Economic Development to a packed house on Tuesday afternoon at the Angels Camp Fire House. The meeting lasted about two hours. Amy Wetzel with the Buxton Company made a presentation onvarious economic development strategies, ranging from small retailers to more traditional approaches with national chains. The Buxton Company is one of the largest retail placement and location scouting companies in the nation. They help companies pick locations and they also help communities and locations attract retailers. After the presentation the discussion really opened up with members of the public, Angels Camp City Council...

Copperopolis, CA.....A meeting will be held at the Copperopolis Fire House on Wednesday April 23, to reconvene the Copperopolis Community Plan Advisory Committee for the purpose of reviewing the current status of the plan and recommending next steps to take concerning proposed revisions. This meeting is also designed to give citizens an opportunity to participate in planning for their community for the next twenty years.....
