Irving, TX – November 19, 2012 – Hostess Brands Inc. announced today that it will follow a request from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York to enter a confidential mediation on Tuesday with the Bakery, Confectionary, Tobacco and Grain Millers Union (BCTGM). Today’s hearing to consider Hostess Brands’ motion to wind down the Company and sell all of its assets has been adjourned until 11 a.m., EST, on Wednesday.

Calavras County CAO Boyce Retiring |

San Andreas, CA...In her statements at the close of Tuesday's Board of Supervisors Meeting Calaveras County CAO Boyce announced that she will be retiring at the end of the year. Jeanne Boyce can be credited for righting a very shaky fiscal ship that was taking on water during the fiscal downturn. Prior to becoming CAO Boyce was head of Health and Human Services at the county and has been an effective, leading county employee since the early 1990's when she join the county's ranks. So for those of you wishing for a new direction for the county January should be interesting with potentialy the largest changes in county leadership we have seen in quite some time...

Hostess Brands is Winding Down Operations After Devastating Union Strike |

Irving, TX – November 16, 2012 – Hostess Brands Inc. today announced that it is winding down operations and has filed a motion with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court seeking permission to close its business and sell its assets, including its iconic brands and facilities. Bakery operations have been suspended at all plants. Delivery of products will continue and Hostess Brands retail stores will remain open for several days in order to sell already-baked products....

The event is a competition between departments. There were trophies for best costume, best judge bribe, best office decorations, best pumpkin and the coveted trophy for the Stone Soup food and money drive. Sonora, CA...At their October meeting the Tuolumne County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors reviewed all nominations submitted by the public for the annual Best of Tuolumne County Awards.
