Angels Camp, CA...The Angels Camp Library is currently looking for a new Story Time Leader. Story Time is held each Friday morning from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Each Story Time involves reading to pre-school kids, and can include singing and crafts. Supplies are provided. The position pays $30/session. Experience required.

Tad and Jane Bottomley-Winans offered their gorgeous Dove Hill Ranch as the perfect setting. Copperopolis, CA...The Inaugural Copperopolis Strawberry Festival made it's debut at Copperopolis Town Square on Sunday and what an initial run it was. Several estimates put the attendance at over 5,000 during the course of the event. It looks like we may have another annual event that will become a staple on the annual events calendars. The Strawberry Festival had something for everyone. Arts, Crafts, Carriage Rides, Food, Drink, Music and more. The Square has matured into a great event venue and destination with nice permanent shops, great parking and a beautiful and manicured venue for events...

The first position available is for someone who is an intermediate (skill level I) in welding and would like to enhance their skills while learning on the job. The second position is for someone who is advanced (skill level III) in 7018, dual shield welding and currently certified. They must have at least 2 years of experience in structural welding, fit-up, and plan reading. Both positions must be able to operate equipment safely and work well with a team. Help Wanted – Bear Valley Beach Attendant |

Bear Valley, CA...25 hours a week – 10am-3pm, Thursday through Monday at Bear Lake. Check BVRI memberships for all beachgoers and anglers. Assist in all facets of July 2 annual BVRI picnic. Daily maintenance of the beaches such as raking the sand, lightly cleaning the portable toilets, bringing garbage and recyclables to community dumpsters, and inspecting the walking trails around the lake. Also, the candidate will maintain signage, erosion ditches at both beaches, and the raft. The candidate will also need to be comfortable reporting non-member usage as well as inappropriate behavior and safety issues.
