Angels Camp, CA...The power has been restored to most of the Angels Camp area. There are just under 200 PG&E customers awaiting restoral or using alternate means of powering things this morning.

Washington, DC...Boar's Head Provisions Co., Inc., a Jarratt, Va., establishment, is recalling all liverwurst product produced by the establishment that is currently available in commerce because it may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The company is also recalling additional deli meat products that were produced on the same line and on the same day as the liverwurst and, therefore, may be adulterated with L. monocytogenes. The company is recalling approximately 207,528 pounds of products.

Arnold, CA...When Patty & Richard finished serving their last customers on July 22 it marked the end of the 21 year run for the beloved Bristol's Ranch House Cafe. It also marked the beginning of their retirement and a bit more leisure. GABA or the Greater Arnold Business Association couldn't let the event pass unnoticed and presented them with their inaugural "Key to the Community" award and invited them to be the Grand Marshals of the 2025 GABA Independence Day Parade.

Arnold, CA...While in our little rural corner of the world life seems to roll on unaffected, the digital world as a whole is having real issues with the huge Crowdstrike & Microsoft outage has disrupted travel, banking & even the US Postal service.
