Bear Valley, CA...The Bear Valley Adventure Company is seeking a few hearty individuals to oversee the entrance and staging area to one of California’s finest cross-country, snowshoe, and sledding centers. The Trailhead Ambassador position is part-time and responsible for welcoming guests and helping them get their day started right. Ambassadors can work unsupervised and outside in a winter environment. No experience is necessary, just a genuine smile and interest in helping people have a great day in the mountains.

San Andreas, CA...The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office proudly announces the outstanding achievement of Corporal Jesse Green, a Bret Harte High School graduate, at the 2023 World Police and Fire Games held in Winnipeg, Canada.
From July 26 to August 6, the city of Winnipeg played host to an impressive assembly of around 8,500 athletes from over 50 nations for the biennial sporting event. Among these distinguished world athletes, our very own Corporal Jesse Green stood tall, representing not only our department but also his alma mater, Bret Harte High School, with exceptional skill and sportsmanship.
