Amador County Sheriff's Office Reports 654 PG&E Customers Still Without Power |

Jackson, CA...As of 630am on January 7th, there are still 654 PG&E customers without power in Amador County due to the 12/27 Winter Storm. PG&E has updated us that they still anticipate to have those customers fully restored today by 6pm.

Placerville, CA - Visitors are reminded that the annual seasonal closure of native surface roads, also known as dirt roads, will go into effect on the Eldorado National Forest on Saturday, January 1, 2022. These roads will remain closed until at least April 1.

Arnold, CA...The latest from the National Weather Service....Winter Storm to Impact Mountain and Foothill Travel into This Evening. Moderate to heavy mountain snow will continue this morning with snow showers continuing into this evening. Snow levels will generally be between 1500 and 2500 feet lowering Monday afternoon down to 1000 feet, locally lower over Shasta County.
